1. 참가 자격 및 팀 구성1. Eligibility and team composition

  • 가. 참가 자격
    a. Eligibility
  • 1. 대회일 기준 국내외 대학교에 재학 중이거나 휴학 중인 전 세계 대학생을 대상으로 한다.
    ※ 대학원생 제외 / 이전 대회에서 부정행위로 실격된 팀의 참가자는 본 대회에 참가 제한
    1. The competition is open to undergraduate students worldwide who are enrolled or on approved leave from a university as of the competition date.
    ※ Graduate students are not eligible. Participants disqualified for misconduct in a previous edition may be restricted from this event.
  • 2. 기타 참가 자격 여부가 불명확한 경우는 운영위원회의에서 결정한다.
    2. If eligibility is unclear, the organizing committee will decide.
  • 나. 신청 서류 : 재학증명서
    ※ 재학증명서 발급이 어려울 때 지도교수 추천서(확인서) 등
    b. Required documents: Certificate of enrollment
    ※ If a certificate cannot be issued, a supervisor recommendation or equivalent verification may be accepted.
  • 다. 팀 구성
    c. Team composition
  • 1. 경진대회 참가 희망자는 팀을 구성해서 참가할 수 있다.
    1. Participants may compete as a team.
  • 2. 참가팀은 4인 이내로 제한한다.
    2. Teams may have up to four (4) members.
  • 3. 동일인이 여러 팀에 중복하여 참여하거나 동일 팀(인)이 여러 부문(초급A, 초급B, 고급)에 중복하여 참가할 수 없다.
    3. No person may join multiple teams, and no team may register in more than one track (Beginner A, Beginner B, Advanced).
  • 4. 팀명은 15자 이내로 팀 특성을 잘 표현할 수 있는 이름으로 제시하되, 사회적 통념상 부적절한 팀명은 사용이 제한될 수 있다.
    4. Team names must be within 15 characters, reflect the team appropriately, and must not violate public order or morals.
  • 5. 참가 신청을 완료한 팀은 본선 종료 때까지 팀의 구성을 변경해서는 아니 된다. 단, 예선 참가 신청 마감 전까지 팀원의 구성을 변경하여 다시 신청서를 제출하는 것은 허용된다.
    5. After registration, the roster must not change until the end of the finals, except that changes before the preliminary registration deadline are allowed with a new submission.
  • 라. 참가 부문
    d. Tracks
  • 1. 대회운영은 초급(Beginner)부문과 고급(Advanced)부문으로 나누어 진행한다.
    1. The event offers Beginner and Advanced tracks.
  • 2. 대회참가는 참가자(팀)의 실력에 따라 초급(Beginner) 또는 고급(Advanced)으로 선택하여 참가할 수 있다. 단, 초급A 부문은 대한민국 국적자, 초급B 부문은 대한민국 외 국적자만 신청할 수 있다. 대한민국 국적자가 포함된 다국적팀은 초급A 또는 초급B 선택 가능.
    2. Teams choose a track by skill level. Beginner A is for Republic of Korea nationals; Beginner B is for non–R.O.K. nationals. Multinational teams that include R.O.K. nationals may choose Beginner A or B.
  • 3. ‘핵테온 세종’ 경진대회에 입상 기록(훈격은 불문한다)이 있는 자는 초급(Beginner) 부문에 신청하거나 신청팀의 구성원이 될 수 없다.
    3. Anyone who has previously placed (any rank) in HackTheon Sejong may not register for Beginner or join a Beginner team.
  • 4. 온라인 방식으로 진행되는 예선전 결과, 본선진출팀(40개팀)은 다음과 같이 결정한다.
    고급부문(Advanced) : 예선 상위 20개팀초급부문(Beginner) : 초급A팀(예선 상위 10개팀), 초급B팀(예선 상위 10개팀)
    4. After online preliminaries, forty (40) teams advance to finals as follows:
    Advanced: top 20 teams from preliminariesBeginner: Beginner A top 10 teams + Beginner B top 10 teams

2. 채점 및 동점자 처리2. Scoring and tie-breaking

  • 가. 답안 제출 시 문제별 배점(기본배점 + 가산점수)에 따라 점수를 부여한다.
    a. Scores are assigned per problem based on base points plus bonus points when answers are submitted.
  • 나. 기본 배점은 난이도에 따라 초기 설정되며, 가산 점수는 정답률에 따라 책정된다.
    b. Base points reflect difficulty; bonus points may depend on global solve rate.
  • 다. 동점인 팀이 있는 경우 최종 플래그 제출 시간이 빠른 순으로 우선순위를 결정한다.
    c. Ties are broken by earlier submission time of the final flag.

3. 부정행위, 제한 사항 등3. Misconduct and restrictions

  • 가. 대회 참가 신청자와 실제 참가자가 다른 경우 적발 즉시 실격 처리된다.
    ※ 경진대회 종료 후에도 대리 참가가 확인되면 시상 취소, 상금 반환, 고발될 수 있음
    a. If registrants and actual participants differ, the team is disqualified immediately.
    ※ If proxy participation is found even after the event, prizes may be revoked, funds returned, and legal action considered.
  • 나. 대회 서버에서 정당한 인증을 통하지 않고 이루어진 모든 행위는 무효화 될 수 있다.
    b. Actions on competition systems without proper authentication may be voided.
  • 다. 팀원 이외 사람과 부적절한 공유를 통해 키값을 인증하면 대회 결과와 상관없이 관련된 팀과 팀원은 모두 실격 처리된다.
    c. Sharing flag authentication with non-team members leads to disqualification of all involved teams and members.
  • 라. 부정행위가 의심될 때 운영진은 관련자에게 풀이 과정 설명을 요청할 수 있고, 이에 응하지 않거나 풀이 과정을 설명하지 못하면 부정행위로 간주하여 실격 처리한다.
    d. If cheating is suspected, organizers may require a walkthrough; failure to comply may be treated as cheating.
  • 마. 대회 중 플래그나 문제 풀이법에 대한 온라인 공유는 금지된다.
    e. Online sharing of flags or solutions during the event is prohibited.
  • 바. 부정행위로 실격 처리되는 경우, 향후 3년간 본 대회 출전이 금지되고, 소속․팀명․아이디 등이 공개될 수 있다. 또한 소속 대학교에 해당 사항이 통보될 수 있다.
    f. Disqualification for misconduct may include a three-year ban, public disclosure of affiliation/team/handle, and notice to the participant's school.
  • 사. 대회 운영 서버에 대한 모든 공격은 금지되고, 문제 서버(Web/Shell)에 풀이를 위해 필요한 행위가 아닌 운영에 장애를 일으키는 행위를 하는 것은 금지된다.
    ※ 공격행위 적발 시 대회 운영진의 판단과 권한으로 실격 처리될 수 있음
    g. Attacking infrastructure is prohibited; actions on challenge servers must be limited to legitimate solving—no disruption of operations.
    ※ Organizers may disqualify teams for disruptive behavior at their discretion.
  • 아. 경진대회장 내에서는 고성, 자리 이동, 소란, 소동 등 다른 사람의 경기를 방해하는 모든 행위가 금지된다.
    h. Loud or disruptive behavior that interferes with others at the venue is prohibited.
  • 자. 대회 입상팀은 불가피한 경우를 제외하고 시상식에 참석해야 할 의무가 있으며, 참석하지 않으면 시상 취소, 향후 대회 참가 제한 등 불이익을 받을 수 있다.
    i. Awarded teams must attend the ceremony unless excused; absence may void awards and future eligibility.
  • 차. 본선 대회 불참자는 소속팀이 입상하더라도 입상 대상에서 제외된다.
    j. Finalists who do not attend finals cannot receive awards even if their team places.

4. 비밀 유지4. Confidentiality

  • 가. 참가자는 본 경진대회 중 취득한 정보(보안 관련)를 다른 사람에게 발설하거나 배포해서는 아니 된다.
    a. Participants must not disclose or distribute security-related information obtained during the competition.
  • 나. 경진대회 중 알게 된 비밀을 누설하거나 유출･오용하면 민･형사상 책임을 부담할 수 있다.
    b. Leaking or misusing secrets learned during the event may incur civil or criminal liability.

5. 기타 사항5. Miscellaneous

  • 가. 본 규정은 필요할 경우 수정될 수 있으며 수정된 규정을 최종 규정으로 한다.
    a. These rules may be amended; the latest published version prevails.
  • 나. 본 대회 응시생이 작성한 답안(Write-Up) 등에 대한 권리는 세종특별자치시가 공동으로 소유하며 세종특별자치시는 대회의 발전과 홍보 등을 위해 이를 사용할 수 있다.
    b. Rights to write-ups and similar submissions may be jointly held by Sejong Special Self-Governing City for promotion and development of the event.
  • 다. 위에 규정되지 아니한 사항 또는 규정에 대한 해석은 운영위원회의 결정에 따른다.
    c. Matters not covered here or interpretation disputes are decided by the organizing committee.
